Principles of Earth Democracy and Youth Food Bill of Rights

We’ve added two more articles on our Resources page:

  1. Vandana Shiva’s 10 Principles of Earth Democracy, written as part of the Earth Democracy Movement, based out of Navdanya, “an Indian-based non-governmental organization which promotes biodiversity conservation, biodiversity, organic farming, the rights of farmers, and the process of seed saving. ‘Navdanya’ means ‘nine crops’ that represent India’s collective source of food security.[1]
  2. A Youth Food Bill of Rights, written in the course of a Rooted in Community national youth summit without adult participation.  An inspiring look at the work we need to do to create a world worthy of our progeny.

The Resources page contains tons of amazing and inspring work for framing local, sustainable democracies — check it out!
